Photoshop Tip: High Pass Filter

This is something i use a LOT, it sharpens your image in an interesting way.

Here's how to do it:
- open a random image
- duplicate the layer
- desaturate the duplicate (ctrl + shift + u)
- make sure the duplicate is selected and go to filter>other>high pass (a setting of 5 is good for most pics)
- hit ok and set the blending mode of the duplicate to "hard light".

u can do this as much as u want, but be careful, it's easy to overdo it... like I did in the image below ;)
